ART INSTRUCTORS 
 

 BRUSHED is a new and exciting expansion of the paint and pour industry where customers can visit a beautifully decorated studio and take a variety of instructor led paint classes.  We also have open studio hours – for families and individuals to come and be creative.  We also rent our studio out for private events. Lastly, BRUSHED offers a variety of products such as blank canvases, pillows, art work and a variety of other for sale.  BRUSHED will separate itself from competitors by providing a modern/elegant store design and by establishing itself as a staple in a quickly developing rural community.
 

Job Description:  BRUSHED is looking for a passionate Art Instructor to join our team. Art Instructor responsibilities include materials and equipment management, overseeing set-up and breakdown of the venue, supervising event staff, instructing a class of up to 35 people, and overall ensuring that guests have the best experience.  This is a part-time position with potential to grow to full-time and reports directly to the CEO.
 

Preferred Candidates will:

  1. Prep/Choose Artwork for upcoming classes

  2. Occasionally consult with owner on store design and art materials

  3. Be open-minded and comfortable with a variety of paint and event concepts

  4. Have the ability to work Saturdays and Sundays

  5. Have excellent communication and presentation skills

  6. Have the ability to lead event staff or assistants if needed

  7. Have a positive attitude and be genuinely excited to help guests

  8. Have the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

  9. Must be 21+
     

Additional Artist Perks:

  1. The ability for artists to sell artwork/pieces in-store and on website

  2. Commission/profit sharing on sold-out/artist promoted events

  3. Deeply discounted paint studio use and private event facilities (for clients and art shows etc.)
     

Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $13-$18/hr
